Marco Ruiz

Marco Ruiz has been in the restaurant business for more than 25 years.

Marco's background of experience in the restaurant business includes being the chef of Piatti's restaurant in Yountville.

In March of 1991 Pasta Prego Trattoria opened with Marco as Chef/Owner.

Pasta Prego offers Northern Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Pasta Prego has been recognized as one of Napa Valley's finest restaurants. Pasta Prego has been named "Best Italian Restaurant" in Napa Valley on several occasions.




Business Partner
Richard Tiedemann

Partner and heading up the wine department, is Richard Tiedemann.

Richard is a 5th generation Napan who's family name has been growing grapes in the same soil, same spot in the Stag's Leap area since the late 1880's. Richard invites you to come to Pasta Prego and taste some of Napa Valley's finest wines, as well as a select few imports.
